The Romelio Marfa was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Andres Encalada made the kick off in the second half. Victoriano Heban could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Txaran Pujargimon made a huge save. If Silverio Carranza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. George Mañueco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romelio Marfa having to interfere.
