The referee showed Maurino De Pedro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to 25 de Agosto getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edelmiro Abadia in the 18th minute of play forced 25 de Agosto's goalkeeper Ado Bornes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pacorro Limon made in the 69th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Teo Alsua immediately put the ball in play. The Coion FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Afonso Ceceil should have stopped the shot. Timeteo Gimenez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afonso Ceceil having to interfere. After 80 minutes of play, 25 de Agosto's Maurino De Pedro made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Afonso Ceceil was left in no man's land by his defense there! With his leg Ado Bornes managed to avoid a goal in the 83rdth minute, when Coion FC's Edelmiro Abadia fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 85th minute Quirce Linde shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ado Bornes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maurino De Pedro struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Afonso Ceceil didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for 25 de Agosto. Afonso Ceceil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Rau in the 88th minute of play. 96 minutes into the match, 25 de Agosto's goalkeeper Ado Bornes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cesaro Nogal. The 25 de Agosto support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
