Rios Eraña might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Celedonio Docio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Trigo's goalkeeper Celedonio Docio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Munio Zamorano in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Celedonio Docio saved Trigo from getting behind. In the 44th minute, Lalla Menocal fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Cesar Salvia, passed just outside the right post. The Trigo fans' excitement grew in the 44th match minute when Trigo's Uzuri Piedeconcha looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Carqueja's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
