With a little luck, Ceferino FC's Confesor Maza got control of the ball when Prejun Grajal tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Prejun Grajal could shoot a difficult shot in the 5th minute, which Confesor Maza however easily saved by the left post. The supporters of Ceferino FC booed when Valdense was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Justino Tejeido didn't get a good kick on the ball. Diego Senqui sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ceferino FC's Confesor Maza proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Ceferino FC from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emesto Villamandos in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Victor Lorza prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Valdense booed when Ceferino FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maju Ganado didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 24th minute, Tristan Botejara sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Ceferino FC's Confesor Maza didn't even have to move. Diego Senqui recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 27 minutes into the game, Justino Tejeido was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Valdense's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ceferino FC the free kick. Justino Tejeido hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. 29 minutes into the match, Valdense's goal looked a bit too open when Demario Nalda came free, but Victor Lorza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 32 minutes of play, Ceferino FC's Emesto Villamandos made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Victor Lorza was left in no man's land by his defense there! Emesto Villamandos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Jago Adarzo fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Valdense's protests and gave Jago Adarzo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 36th minute, Jago Adarzo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 37 minutes into the match, Ceferino FC's Gaskon Granela broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Victor Lorza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Demario Nalda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Demario Nalda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Prejun Grajal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Confesor Maza having to make a save. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The audience was convinced that Emesto Villamandos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Victor Lorza was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. In the 56th minute Emesto Villamandos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victor Lorza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emesto Villamandos in the 58th minute of play forced Valdense's goalkeeper Victor Lorza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emesto Villamandos in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Victor Lorza saved Valdense from getting behind. Prejun Grajal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Confesor Maza having to make a save. Confesor Maza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Prejun Grajal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Confesor Maza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Senqui in the 70th minute of play. When Demario Nalda came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Ceferino FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Demario Nalda couldn't finish the play. 85 minutes into the match, Emesto Villamandos dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Victor Lorza, 0-3. If Emesto Villamandos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Demario Nalda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victor Lorza having to interfere. During the 96th minute of the match Jago Adarzo completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Jago Adarzo a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game.
