Salvador Sorribes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cordero Gutarrate, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Oidor Canonega charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Oidor Canonega the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 21 played minutes Uruguay AFC got a freekick which was hit by Oidor Canonega. Isidoro Mirones made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Jurdan Quiroz sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Eyague Lizaso kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Isidoro Mirones. That made the score 2-2 in the 29 minute of play. Isidoro Mirones made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jurdan Quiroz in the 34th minute. A collision led to Uruguay AFC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Blanco Rabel hit a great ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cordero Gutarrate to strike the kick off in the second half. Salvador Sorribes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cordero Gutarrate in the 52nd minute of the match. With a little luck, Uruguay AFC's Salvador Sorribes got control of the ball when Lazaro Manriquez tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lazaro Manriquez was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 55th minute. Pedernal FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Lazaro Manriquez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Salvador Sorribes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Cordero Gutarrate had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 74 minutes into the match, Pedernal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jurdan Quiroz came free, but Isidoro Mirones reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 76th minute, Uruguay AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Lazaro Manriquez fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 88th minute, Eyague Lizaso ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Isidoro Mirones was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-3.
