Spectators: 6690 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1690, VIP seats: 0) Pancho Berar started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The supporters of Arevalo booed when Turupi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luisito Muga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Totakoxe Lluba struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Paco Carillo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arevalo. Herena Durante sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 11 minutes into the game, Barea Cossa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Turupi's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Arevalo the free kick. The audience was convinced that Yaniusky Panizo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leonides Carrero was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. 17 minutes into the match, Totakoxe Lluba dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Paco Carillo, 1-0. In the 23rd match minute, Turupi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Barea Cossa to maneuver through the defense. If Totakoxe Lluba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Herena Durantes short, quick shot in the 26thth minute got Paco Carillo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Herena Durante recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hondo Henao received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Paco Carillo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 35 played minutes Turupi got a freekick which was hit by Fero Redeño. In the 38th minute Totakoxe Lluba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paco Carillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 41st minute, Pancho Berar made a precise shot to the right of Leonides Carrero. Arevalo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. If Pancho Berar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Totakoxe Lluba stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Yaniusky Panizo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 58 minutes into the match, Turupi's goal looked a bit too open when Herena Durante came free, but Paco Carillo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arevalo's Herena Durante got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Paco Carillo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Herena Durante in the 65th minute of the match. Herena Durante fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paco Carillo having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Totakoxe Lluba in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paco Carillo saved Turupi from getting behind. Paco Carillo came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Arevalo's Herena Durante. But to his dismay, Herena Durante quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Herena Durante in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paco Carillo saved Turupi from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Herena Durante managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arevalo's supporters rose to their feet, but Herena Durante was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paco Carillo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sedeni Pecha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Paco Carillo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 90thth minute of the game Totakoxe Lluba who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Turupi's Paco Carillo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Pancho Berar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonides Carrero having to interfere. Barea Cossa kicked well hit freekick during the 99th minute of the match. In the 99th minute, Teofilo Chavarria sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Turupi's Paco Carillo didn't even have to move.
