Ixaka Hidalgo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Claudinei Majua tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 7th minute, Hotz Ayon made a precise shot to the right of Claudinei Majua. Minuano's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 11th minute Raimundo Urquizu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cordeal Balaguer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ixaka Hidalgo got free with Claudinei Majua in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Diaz's Cordeal Balaguer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xantalen Vea in the 15th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Menendo Irizarry in the 22nd minute of play forced Minuano's goalkeeper Claudinei Majua to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Osoro Arieta fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Minuano's protests and gave Osoro Arieta a yellow card for diving instead. In the 25th match minute, Minuano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Osoro Arieta to maneuver through the defense. Minuano's Claudinei Majua proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Minuano from getting a goal against them. Claudinei Majua made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Hotz Ayon sent off a good shot on target. Minuano's Claudinei Majua played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ixaka Hidalgo in the 35th minute of play. 37 minutes into the match, Minuano's goal looked a bit too open when Rocendo Añoza came free, but Claudinei Majua reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Claudinei Majua was out of position in the 38 minute of play, and Ixaka Hidalgo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ixaka Hidalgo really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. 43 minutes into the match, Minuano's goalkeeper Claudinei Majua had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rafe Polanco. Naelio Bueres kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Cordeal Balaguer was a little too slow when Osoro Arieta got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 55th minute. The score was now 3-1. After 57 played minutes Minuano got a freekick which was hit by Osoro Arieta. 59 minutes into the match, Minuano's goal looked a bit too open when Rafe Polanco came free, but Claudinei Majua reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Claudinei Majua showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafe Polanco, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Rocendo Añoza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Claudinei Majua tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ixaka Hidalgo in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Claudinei Majua saved Minuano from getting behind. Rafe Polanco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Claudinei Majua tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 70 played minutes Diaz got a freekick which was hit by Matthew Taracena. When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, Rocendo Añoza put it in 4-1 from a short distance just to the right of Claudinei Majua. Diaz's Reinaldo Posse was substituted for Ixaka Hidalgo. After some careless play in the Minuano defense, Rocendo Añoza kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Claudinei Majua. The Minuano fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Claudinei Majua should have stopped the shot. In the 82nd minute, Mambru Huguet left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Diaz fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-1. Claudinei Majua took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rocendo Añoza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 92 minutes, the score became 7-1 when Reinaldo Posse sped through Minuano's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Claudinei Majua. 96 minutes into the match, Minuano's goal looked a bit too open when Hotz Ayon came free, but Claudinei Majua reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Diaz fully deserved thier win.
