Spectators: 6716 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1716, VIP seats: 0) River Plate's Zeruko Arango started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Astor Peruyera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zeruko Arango in the 3rd minute of play. River Plate were awarded a corner in the 5th minute after Minas's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Israel Raireta took the corner. In the 5th minute, Innocenzio Zaldo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 6 minutes, Israel Raireta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. River Plate's supporters crossed their fingers, but Israel Raireta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mundo Palmer hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. 10 minutes into the match, Zeruko Arango had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Astor Peruyera. Minas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zeruko Arango was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Mundo Palmer kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. After 14 played minutes, River Plate's Israel Raireta shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Astor Peruyera came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in River Plate reached it. An unexpected shot in the 22nd minute by Innocenzio Zaldo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. A hard shot 22 in the game by Dominix Raigada from a close distance when the talented Ignado Naveros managed to make a qualified save. River Plate's players were relieved. 25 minutes into the game, Innocenzio Zaldo lined in a short shot 1-1 behind a frustrated Ignado Naveros. The supporters of Minas booed when River Plate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vitor Valgoma didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 36th minute of the match Ivon Maceda sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ignado Naveros skillfully saved the ball. In the 39th minute, Minas's Dominix Raigada dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1.

The wind increased when Dominix Raigada made the kick off in the second half. Fernan Lizaso charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fernan Lizaso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 52nd match minute, River Plate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernan Lizaso to maneuver through the defense. Astor Peruyera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Playo Lobelo in the 59th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Zeruko Arango kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Astor Peruyera. That made the score 2-2 in the 60 minute of play. With a little luck, Minas's Astor Peruyera got control of the ball when Playo Lobelo tried to sneak it across the goal line. With 68 minutes on the clock, Xiao Baraña commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 67 minutes into the game, one of Minas:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Israel Raireta walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. 76 minutes into the game, Goito Orsini was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Minas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave River Plate the free kick. In the 75th minute, one of Minas:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Minas. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Innocenzio Zaldo in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ignado Naveros saved River Plate from getting behind. Israel Raireta hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. 95 minutes into the match, Innocenzio Zaldo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ignado Naveros. River Plate's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Innocenzio Zaldo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-3. After some careless play in the Minas defense, Playo Lobelo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Astor Peruyera. The Minas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Astor Peruyera should have stopped the shot. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. River Plate had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
