Caraballo's Leandro Anguiano tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Jarod Kuhn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. Ricart Vilaplana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Caraballo's goalkeeper Leandro Anguiano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Bayern Munich booed when Caraballo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mouricio Alves didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lopez Arevalo had several of the Caraballo's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 22 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-0 score and a disappointed Leandro Anguiano as he didn't even see the shot coming. If Ettore Ucci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Bayern Munich's Lopez Arevalo in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Caraballo's goalie prevented a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Lopez Arevalo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Leandro Anguiano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Lopez Arevalo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leandro Anguiano was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mouricio Alves stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Jarod Kuhn came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Bayern Munich fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jarod Kuhn couldn't finish the play. In the 54th minute Bayern Munich were awarded a corner. Xerardo Gallostegui went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Eleazar Sardaneta almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Caraballo's Leandro Anguiano did a great save. 55 minutes into the game, Eleazar Sardaneta cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Leandro Anguiano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 59th minute, Suero Barba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lopez Arevalo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leandro Anguiano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. After 61 played minutes Bayern Munich got a freekick which was hit by Eleazar Sardaneta. Ricart Vilaplana didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Santo Larreta went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. Ettore Ucci sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 79 minutes into the match, Bayern Munich's goalkeeper Ricart Vilaplana had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Santo Larreta. Lopez Arevalo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leandro Anguiano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. In the 86thth minute of the game Lopez Arevalo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Caraballo's Leandro Anguiano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Caraballo's zone, Lopez Arevalo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leandro Anguiano came out of the goal and Lopez Arevalo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leandro Anguiano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lopez Arevalo in the 92nd minute of the match. 94 minutes into the match, Jarod Kuhn notched a goal, 6-1, to the right of Caraballo's Leandro Anguiano. Leandro Anguiano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. There was no doubt that Bayern Munich were the better team. Bayern Munich's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
