The audience was convinced that Ronaldinho Amezaga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Miliano Fabeiro was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. In the 12th minute, Ronaldinho Amezaga left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. Saverio Curcio kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. 29 minutes into the game, Ronaldinho Amezaga cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Miliano Fabeiro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 33 minutes, Saverio Curcio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vichadero AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Saverio Curcio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Miliano Fabeiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronaldinho Amezaga in the 36th minute of the match. Vichadero AFC were awarded a corner in the 38th minute after City Park's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gartxot Palianza took the corner. The corner led Vichadero AFC's Gartxot Palianza to fire away a dangerous shot which Miliano Fabeiro despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After a rather tough play, City Park's Llorian Antoñana got a free kick in the 39th minute. City Park's Miliano Fabeiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronaldinho Amezaga in the 42nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in City Park's zone, Etxatxu Remolina stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Miliano Fabeiro came out of the goal and Etxatxu Remolina tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronaldinho Amezaga in the 45th minute of play forced City Park's goalkeeper Miliano Fabeiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ronaldinho Amezaga in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Miliano Fabeiro saved City Park from getting behind. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The wind increased when Hector Villariño made the kick off in the second half. When Silverio Bango came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Vichadero AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Silverio Bango couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, City Park's Hector Villariño got a free kick in the 52nd minute. A hard shot 56 in the game by Ronaldinho Amezaga from a close distance when the talented Miliano Fabeiro managed to make a qualified save. City Park's players were relieved. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Goren Villaverde managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vichadero AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Goren Villaverde was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Miliano Fabeiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 58th match minute, City Park was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Costante Castañiza to maneuver through the defense. After 59th play minutes Ronaldinho Amezaga shot 0-3, a short shot which went by Miliano Fabeiro and just under the crossbar into goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ronaldinho Amezaga in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Miliano Fabeiro saved City Park from getting behind. Miliano Fabeiro was a little too slow when Goren Villaverde got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 66th minute. The score was now 0-4. Etxatxu Remolina recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Moncho Fariñada's late challenge caught a Vichadero AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Moncho Fariñada helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Vichadero AFC booed when City Park was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moncho Fariñada didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Vichadero AFC fans' excitement grew in the 78th match minute when Vichadero AFC's Ronaldinho Amezaga looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Ronaldinho Amezaga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Miliano Fabeiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Iago Llanes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Miliano Fabeiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. Iago Llanes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vichadero AFC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
