The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 12 played minutes Queguay got a freekick which was hit by Fernandez Reymondo. In the 13thth minute of the game Bernebe Astoreca who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Queguay's Felipillo Lluberas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gau Peramato made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sindo Corcuera in the 16th minute. Felipillo Lluberas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernebe Astoreca in the 21st minute of the match. Enol Rotalo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Felipillo Lluberas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bernebe Astoreca's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. After a rather tough play, Queguay's Rioja Rancel got a free kick in the 34th minute. Felipillo Lluberas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alonso Trimiño in the 35th minute of play. After 36 minutes, Benino Viso mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Queguay and the Buricayupi FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Benino Viso hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. 38 minutes into the game, Txeru Balboa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Buricayupi FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Queguay the free kick. The supporters of Queguay booed when Buricayupi FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Txeru Balboa didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Sindo Corcuera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 45th minute, Cucao Mier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Isidor Tornamira hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Queguay's Felipillo Lluberas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Queguay from getting a goal against them. Sindo Corcuera struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Gau Peramato didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Queguay. If Enol Rotalo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 71 minutes, Isidor Tornamira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Queguay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isidor Tornamira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 74 minutes, Rafel Armiaga mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Queguay and the Buricayupi FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 74 played minutes Queguay got a freekick which was hit by Rafel Armiaga. If Isidor Tornamira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 83rd minute Pascual Navia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felipillo Lluberas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Buricayupi FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
