Maronas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Isidor Tornamira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Queguay's Felipillo Lluberas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baldovino Saco in the 33rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bidun Cubilla got free with Felipillo Lluberas in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A hard shot 38 in the game by Bidun Cubilla from a close distance when the talented Felipillo Lluberas managed to make a qualified save. Queguay's players were relieved. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidor Tornamira in the 39th minute of play forced Maronas's goalkeeper Yago Paramo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sindo Corcuera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Yago Paramo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Queguay's zone, Bidun Cubilla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Felipillo Lluberas came out of the goal and Bidun Cubilla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 54th minute, Baldovino Saco made a precise shot to the right of Felipillo Lluberas. Queguay's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. 62 minutes into the game, Sindo Corcuera was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Queguay's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Maronas the free kick. A collision led to Queguay getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Sindo Corcuera hit a great ball. Baldovino Saco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Felipillo Lluberas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bidun Cubilla, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. With an all-out effort, Queguay's Yago Paramo threw himself towards the right post 83 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Isidor Tornamira, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Baldovino Saco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 93 played minutes Queguay got a freekick which was hit by Hermengildo Mambliga. For all the effort they put into the match, the Queguay players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Maronas.
