If Lastur Rigues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 97 minutes into the match, Pinchazo's goalkeeper Umbruso Villamayor had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bonifacio Taracena. Maldonado FC's Richie Salceda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Remigio Sendin in the 99th minute of play. Maldonado FC played a much better game than Pinchazo and deserved their victory. The Pinchazo players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
