With a little luck, Ahogados FC's Mauricio Roldan got control of the ball when Manuel Paublo tried to sneak it across the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, C.A. Torque's goal looked a bit too open when Anibal Orruma came free, but Ariando Guixot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zarando Badia hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. After 30 played minutes, Ahogados FC's Abelardo Robina shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ariando Guixot came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ahogados FC reached it. Lucian Tresgallo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Mauricio Roldan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lucian Tresgallo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Ahogados FC's zone, Lucian Tresgallo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mauricio Roldan came out of the goal and Lucian Tresgallo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Ahogados FC's Anibal Orruma in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye C.A. Torque's goalie prevented a goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Bonifacio Farto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mauricio Roldan having to interfere. C.A. Torque's Ariando Guixot proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save C.A. Torque from getting a goal against them. Mauricio Roldan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucian Tresgallo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Lucian Tresgallo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zarando Badia's late challenge caught a Ahogados FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zarando Badia helped the player get up and apologised.
