Paralle's Pancho Estevis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jakue Madrazo in the 60th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, Ildefonso Aldaz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pancho Estevis. Paralle's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ildefonso Aldaz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Jakue Madrazo's late challenge caught a Paralle's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Baleren Berberana ran back to his position shaking his head. Baleren Berberana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Freddy Bildosteguy having to interfere. The Velasquez AFC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Paralle were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
