Julio Verganzo made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Olayo Ilarraz sent off a good shot on target. Julio Verganzo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fidel Cortes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Fidel Cortes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Verganzo was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. 21 minutes into the match, Vachon Guinda had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Maura Heneriz. Rivera FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vachon Guinda was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Pedro Echaniz put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Maura Heneriz. In the 31st minute Vachon Guinda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maura Heneriz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maura Heneriz came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Estanzuela AFC's Vachon Guinda. But to his dismay, Vachon Guinda quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Vachon Guinda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pedro Echaniz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Maura Heneriz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pedro Echaniz to make the kick off. Olayo Ilarraz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Verganzo having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Telo Cordon during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Rivera FC booed when Estanzuela AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Telo Cordon didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Rivera FC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Fidel Cortes hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Vachon Guinda managed to get in a good position for a shot. Estanzuela AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Vachon Guinda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maura Heneriz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pedro Echaniz struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Maura Heneriz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Estanzuela AFC. The supporters of Estanzuela AFC booed when Rivera FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cordario Sanjurjo didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpected shot in the 78th minute by Pedro Echaniz got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Vachon Guinda could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Maura Heneriz made a huge save. After some careless play in the Estanzuela AFC defense, Olayo Ilarraz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Verganzo. The Estanzuela AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Verganzo should have stopped the shot. Maura Heneriz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Echaniz in the 89th minute of the match. The Rivera FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Estanzuela AFC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
