When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, Fidel Cortes took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Pancho Estevis to make any attempt to save it. Maura Heneriz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Napier Ungia, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. 19 minutes into the match, Rivera FC's goal looked a bit too open when Qwinton Trinidad came free, but Maura Heneriz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 20 played minutes Rivera FC got a freekick which was hit by Ramon Aras. Maura Heneriz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baleren Berberana in the 26th minute of the match. Baleren Berberana took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Maura Heneriz. Maura Heneriz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. When Baleren Berberana came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Paralle fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baleren Berberana couldn't finish the play. Napier Ungia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maura Heneriz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Napier Ungia in the 37th minute of the match. Cordario Sanjurjo charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cordario Sanjurjo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Paralle booed when Rivera FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cordario Sanjurjo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maura Heneriz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Baleren Berberana's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. Paralle's Romano Ludeña got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Baleren Berberana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 43 played minutes Rivera FC got a freekick which was hit by Fidel Cortes. After some careless play in the Rivera FC defense, Baleren Berberana kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Maura Heneriz. The Rivera FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Maura Heneriz should have stopped the shot.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fidel Cortes was the one to do the kick off. Johans Sorrarain lost his temper 52 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 59 minutes into the game, Ramon Aras was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rivera FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Paralle the free kick. After a rather tough play, Rivera FC's Ramon Aras got a free kick in the 59th minute. Fidel Cortes scored 3-2 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pancho Estevis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Qwinton Trinidad during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 67 played minutes Paralle got a freekick which was hit by Qwinton Trinidad. If Olayo Ilarraz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Txerran Brion helped the player get up and apologised. Pancho Estevis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Rivera FC's zone, Romano Ludeña stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maura Heneriz came out of the goal and Romano Ludeña tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Napier Ungia came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Paralle fans jumped to their feet.
