Bermund Santoni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pacifico Quejura, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Santi Ayerdi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Santi Ayerdi kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Juan-Alfredo Garandia. That made the score 1-0 in the 23 minute of play. If Resto Berzosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bermund Santoni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Resto Berzosa in the 31st minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Resto Berzosa in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bermund Santoni saved Vinolles AFC from getting behind. 36 minutes into the match, Vinolles AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Weterio Manes came free, but Bermund Santoni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Vergara getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Ferdinand Laranga hit a great ball. Vergara's Resto Berzosa got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Resto Berzosa in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bermund Santoni saved Vinolles AFC from getting behind. 43 minutes into the game, Garaile Sotomayor was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vinolles AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vergara the free kick. Bermund Santoni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Resto Berzosa in the 48th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

After having played for 53 minutes, Silvestre Armero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vinolles AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Silvestre Armero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pacifico Quejura received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Bermund Santoni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vergara's Resto Berzosa was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 63rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. If Santi Ayerdi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Vergara's Resto Berzosa in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vinolles AFC's goalie prevented a goal. The audience was convinced that Resto Berzosa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bermund Santoni was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. Resto Berzosa's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 90thth minute, Bermund Santoni skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After some careless play in the Vinolles AFC defense, Weterio Manes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bermund Santoni. The Vinolles AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bermund Santoni should have stopped the shot.
