In the 17th minute of the match, Tiso Casiano tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Garikoitz Mina saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 23rd minute Sanchez Umbria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pabla Urtaza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Chap Orozco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 29th minute, Peli Villanueva got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Peli Villanueva could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Garikoitz Mina made a huge save. In the 32nd minute, Casomiro Royo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Peli Villanueva struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Garikoitz Mina didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Soriano. Pabla Urtaza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xepe Arri, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. In the 41st minute, Astor Fariña hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tiso Casiano was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Astor Fariña was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Soriano's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Carmen FC the free kick. In the 53rd minute, Astor Fariña hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Chap Orozco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carmen FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Chap Orozco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pabla Urtaza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pabla Urtaza made an important save on a dangerous shot by Chap Orozco in the 64th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tiso Casiano in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Garikoitz Mina saved Carmen FC from getting behind. In the 71st minute, Sanchez Umbria hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Soriano's Evis Vaquero tried to score from far away in the 72nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Tiso Casiano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Garikoitz Mina having to interfere. Tiso Casiano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Garikoitz Mina read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. If Tiso Casiano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
