All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ferrer Rengifo to make the kick off. When Bras Bratuti fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Huracán Pocitos's protests and gave Bras Bratuti a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 55th minute of the game. Ferrer Rengifo might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dario Carrozal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ferrer Rengifo ran back to his position shaking his head. Cheche Arnao fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joam Vados having to interfere. Ceibal FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
