In the 19th minute, Jose-Antonio Acipreste got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baladi Salinas in the 21st minute of play forced Porongos's goalkeeper Loramendi Rulan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daunte Salas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Loramendi Rulan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baladi Salinas, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. If Rogelio Alari had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 91st minute, Baladi Salinas made a precise shot to the right of Loramendi Rulan. Porongos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. After a defensive mix-up in Porongos's zone, Baladi Salinas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Loramendi Rulan came out of the goal and Baladi Salinas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Clara FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
