Dario Carrozal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oro Acosta in the 29th minute of play. Oro Acosta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rogelio Alari in the 38th minute of play forced Ceibal FC's goalkeeper Dario Carrozal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Udalaitz Merino came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Ceibal FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Udalaitz Merino couldn't finish the play. Loramendi Rulan was a little too slow when Udalaitz Merino got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 47th minute. The score was now 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Udalaitz Merino stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Porongos's Veremundo Contera pulled a muscle in his back after 55 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Ceibal FC's Alejandro Fresnedo got his second yellow card of the match in the 55th minute. The referee ordered Alejandro Fresnedo off the ground. The supporters of Porongos booed when Ceibal FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. In the 80th minute, one of Porongos:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Porongos. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Porongos's goalkeeper Loramendi Rulan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Cheche Arnao managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ceibal FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cheche Arnao was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Loramendi Rulan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cheche Arnao sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out.
