After 2 played minutes Ceibal FC got a freekick which was hit by Cidro Pelon. In the 7th minute, Baladi Salinas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Clara FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. If Baladi Salinas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Perutxo Callergos fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Clara FC's protests and gave Perutxo Callergos a yellow card for diving instead. After 19 played minutes Clara FC got a freekick which was hit by Perutxo Callergos. 20 minutes into the match, Ceibal FC's Carmelo Roales broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 22nd minute, Cheche Arnao got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. During the 23rd minute of the match Perutxo Callergos completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Perutxo Callergos a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Clara FC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Perutxo Callergos hit a great ball. Clara FC's Faron Melendez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cheche Arnao in the 24th minute of play. In the 30th minute Udalaitz Merino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Faron Melendez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ceibal FC's Dario Carrozal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Ceibal FC from getting a goal against them. Cheche Arnao recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Udalaitz Merino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Faron Melendez having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Clara FC's Jose-Antonio Acipreste got a free kick in the 37th minute. Cheche Arnao struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Faron Melendez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ceibal FC. Ceibal FC's Carmelo Roales suffered a concussion in the 46th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. When Baladi Salinas fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Clara FC's protests and gave Baladi Salinas a yellow card for diving instead. In the 47th minute, Baladi Salinas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Cheche Arnao managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ceibal FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cheche Arnao was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Faron Melendez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Ceibal FC's zone, Demetrio Morua stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dario Carrozal came out of the goal and Demetrio Morua tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Baladi Salinas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ceibal FC's Dario Carrozal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baladi Salinas in the 68th minute of play. Baladi Salinas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dario Carrozal having to interfere. After having played for 75 minutes, Galoer Olaso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Clara FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Galoer Olaso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Baladi Salinas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Dario Carrozal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 84 minutes into the game, Opilano Jugo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ceibal FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Clara FC the free kick. After 84 played minutes Ceibal FC got a freekick which was hit by Opilano Jugo. In the 88th minute Gaur Requenes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dario Carrozal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Clara FC had won after a very even match.
