Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Jenaro Cerio fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ceferino's protests and gave Jenaro Cerio a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Echeverria AFC booed when Ceferino was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jenaro Cerio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Echeverria AFC's Bazil Arizabal managed to work through Ceferino's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Bazil Arizabal dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Jenaro Cerio kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Otsoko Laspron in the 15th minute of play forced Ceferino's goalkeeper Ralondo Tamargo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 16 played minutes Ceferino got a freekick which was hit by Enol Arancibia. Ralondo Tamargo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bazil Arizabal, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Xan Padolles charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Xan Padolles the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 33 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ceferino! The referee gave Echeverria AFC a penalty, 34 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Piorno Alvarez, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Ceferino's Ralondo Tamargo. 0-2. Xicu Cosmen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Frantxizko Bendicho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

In the 51st match minute, Ceferino was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hever Palmades to maneuver through the defense. Echeverria AFC's Bazil Arizabal got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ralondo Tamargo came out of the goal and Otsoko Laspron tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ceferino's Ralondo Tamargo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Ceferino from getting a goal against them. If Bazil Arizabal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ceferino's Ralondo Tamargo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bazil Arizabal in the 90th minute of play. Otsoko Laspron sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 93rd minute, Bazil Arizabal reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ralondo Tamargo. The goal made the score 1-3. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Echeverria AFC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
