Belveder's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adriana Somiedo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 31st minute of the match, Ganix Cuba tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Pacifico Moral saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 35th minute, Berart Bobis fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Pacifico Moral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ganix Cuba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Berart Bobis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Berart Bobis came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Belveder fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Berart Bobis couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Belveder booed when Melo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frutos Arzumendi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 53rd minute Berart Bobis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pacifico Moral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pacifico Moral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ganix Cuba in the 58th minute of play. Melo FC's Efrain Argüeso got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ganix Cuba in the 66th minute of play forced Melo FC's goalkeeper Pacifico Moral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Melo FC's Pacifico Moral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ganix Cuba in the 73rd minute of play. Valentim Curueño yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. Adriana Somiedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Melo FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
