Atlantida's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tanio Dulanto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Atlantida's Zeledon Valli managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Rodney Cullar in the 36 minute of the game. After having played for 38 minutes, Tanio Dulanto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atlantida's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tanio Dulanto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gomesano Meruelo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teodoro Iturbe in the 41st minute of the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tanio Dulanto made a kick off.
