Spectators: 6708 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1708, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fernan Fortea started the match with the kick off. Cunapiru's Fernan Fortea was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 4th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Nicodemo Carbezo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamin Ormaechea in the 16th minute of play. Bruno Arijola received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Rosendo Riguez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 19th minute Angelino Morentin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rosendo Riguez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nicodemo Carbezo made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Benjamin Ormaechea sent off a good shot on target. Bruno Arijola received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Rosendo Riguez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Angelino Morentin in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rosendo Riguez saved Cunapiru from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bruno Arijola in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rosendo Riguez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Mangrullo's zone, Benjamin Ormaechea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nicodemo Carbezo came out of the goal and Benjamin Ormaechea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rosendo Riguez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruno Arijola in the 35th minute of play. Mangrullo's Angelino Morentin got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Angelino Morentin came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Mangrullo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Angelino Morentin couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Bruno Arijola's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rosendo Riguez was relentless in the 46th minute of the game.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bruno Arijola stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Cunapiru getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Txordon Ciaño hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Benjamin Ormaechea in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nicodemo Carbezo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bruno Arijola sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 63rd minute Fernan Fortea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicodemo Carbezo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Raymundo Ribacoba's late challenge caught a Cunapiru's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Raymundo Ribacoba helped the player get up and apologised. Raymundo Ribacoba hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Benjamin Ormaechea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Cunapiru's zone, Bruno Arijola stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rosendo Riguez came out of the goal and Bruno Arijola tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Cunapiru's Venerando Atencio got a free kick in the 68th minute. Teodoro Iturbe hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Mangrullo's Goyo Yanez got a free kick in the 75th minute. In the 77th minute Benjamin Ormaechea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicodemo Carbezo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 81st minute, Bruno Arijola reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rosendo Riguez. The goal made the score 1-1. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Mangrullo had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
