Nahia Maide's late challenge caught a Carrasco FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nahia Maide helped the player get up and apologised. In the 17th match minute, Uruguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nahia Maide to maneuver through the defense. Carrasco FC were awarded a corner in the 19th minute after Uruguay's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Denis Cotillos took the corner. Salvator Casavela received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Txurio Guinea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rodas Ruilopez hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Carrasco FC's Txurio Guinea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eyague Crisol in the 27th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cisco Reboredo got free with Dalmau Cifontes in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 33 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goal looked a bit too open when Arlo Igual came free, but Dalmau Cifontes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Salvator Casavela fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Txurio Guinea having to interfere. Txurio Guinea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Salvator Casavela in the 41st minute of the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Salvator Casavela to strike the kick off in the second half. Millan Basante kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Uruguay's zone, Arlo Igual stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dalmau Cifontes came out of the goal and Arlo Igual tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Carrasco FC's Txurio Guinea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Salvator Casavela in the 61st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Eleuterio Sociats managed to get in a good position for a shot. Uruguay's supporters rose to their feet, but Eleuterio Sociats was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Txurio Guinea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Cisco Reboredo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arlo Igual received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Dalmau Cifontes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carrasco FC's Denis Cotillos couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 75th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Uruguay. The supporters of Carrasco FC booed when Uruguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodas Ruilopez didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Carrasco FC's goalkeeper Txurio Guinea, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Eleuterio Sociats received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Txurio Guinea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eleuterio Sociats was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 85th minute. Uruguay's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Dalmau Cifontes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arlo Igual in the 88th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Salvator Casavela in the 90th minute of play forced Carrasco FC's goalkeeper Txurio Guinea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 92 minutes into the match, Carrasco FC's goalkeeper Txurio Guinea had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eleuterio Sociats. 93 minutes into the match, Carrasco FC's goal looked a bit too open when Salvator Casavela came free, but Txurio Guinea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Uruguay would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
