In the 3rd minute Cisco Reboredo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xofre Zumiel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pelayo Cambero charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pelayo Cambero the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Pelayo Cambero hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. A collision led to Guayabos FC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Cordaryal Aspe hit a great ball. 15 minutes into the match, Guayabos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Arlo Igual came free, but Xofre Zumiel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 18 played minutes Guayabos FC got a freekick which was hit by Egoi Suazo. Arlo Igual sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 22nd minute, Osoitz Reoyo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 23rd minute, Arlo Igual got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Guayabos FC booed when Carrasco FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eli Salas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Feliberto Platas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Txurio Guinea having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 43 minutes, Cisco Reboredo put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Xofre Zumiel. Arlo Igual received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Xofre Zumiel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arlo Igual made a kick off. Cisco Reboredo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Xofre Zumiel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Cisco Reboredo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Feliberto Platas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cisco Reboredo took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Xofre Zumiel. Xofre Zumiel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. In the 93rd minute, Arlo Igual made a precise shot to the right of Xofre Zumiel. Guayabos FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. The Carrasco FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Carrasco FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
