Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. In the 9th minute, Angelo Becerro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Haritz Cedeno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. During the 14th minute of the match Angelo Becerro completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Angelo Becerro a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Haritz Cedeno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 17th minute, Mauro Jubera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Haritz Cedeno in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fabricio Cañucal saved Riffo from getting behind. 23 minutes into the match, Bilbo Jaurigui had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lazcano Valera. Durazno Park FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bilbo Jaurigui was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. If Bilbo Jaurigui had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 33rd match minute, Durazno Park FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dunixi Lezana to maneuver through the defense. Mauro Jubera kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Riffo's Fabricio Cañucal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Riffo from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Durazno Park FC booed when Riffo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Helder Nabarro didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lawrence Villate got free with Fabricio Cañucal in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bilbo Jaurigui struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Lazcano Valera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Riffo. After a defensive mix-up in Riffo's zone, Lawrence Villate stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabricio Cañucal came out of the goal and Lawrence Villate tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half Riffo were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Durazno Park FC's goalkeeper Lazcano Valera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fabricio Cañucal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lawrence Villate, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Montay Burgueño kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. In the 67th minute of the match Quintan Ayo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fabricio Cañucal showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 69 minutes of play Riffo's Montay Burgueño was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Montay Burgueño kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Quintan Ayo, 70 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mauro Jubera during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Durazno Park FC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Mauro Jubera hit a great ball. Lawrence Villate received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Fabricio Cañucal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Haritz Cedeno struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Fabricio Cañucal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. Haritz Cedeno recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Riffo's zone, Lawrence Villate stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabricio Cañucal came out of the goal and Lawrence Villate tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Durazno Park FC lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
