The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Baltasar Bruñon to strike the kick off in the second half. Carlos Bergues could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Tabor Calzada made a huge save. If Carlos Bergues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Tabor Calzada managed to avoid a goal in the 59thth minute, when Paysandu's Carlos Bergues fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Santana Vardeci's late challenge caught a Paysandu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Santana Vardeci helped the player get up and apologised. Santana Vardeci kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. In the 68th minute, Baltasar Bruñon fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 70th minute, Matei Vilardell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carlos Bergues received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Tabor Calzada tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Baltasar Bruñon came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Paysandu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baltasar Bruñon couldn't finish the play. Hector-Luis Bachicabo struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Benat Cabriada didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lascano AFC. Benat Cabriada took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santana Vardeci, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hector-Luis Bachicabo scored 1-0 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benat Cabriada, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Matei Vilardell's late challenge caught a Lascano AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Matei Vilardell helped the player get up and apologised. In the 88th match minute, Paysandu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matei Vilardell to maneuver through the defense. Many of Paysandu's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Paysandu may have spent more time on the ball, but Lascano AFC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
