Lano Valino made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Bihar Escapa sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Artigas booed when Ordeig was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabino Sotuela didn't get a good kick on the ball. Isauro Castellon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clemencin Valben having to interfere. Damario Larrangos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Clemencin Valben tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Damario Larrangos in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Clemencin Valben prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Bihar Escapa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Artigas getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Oxel Cruz hit a great ball. Damario Larrangos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clemencin Valben having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

After 96 minutes, Valdo Arrate mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Artigas and the Ordeig players grew even worse after the yellow card. Artigas's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
