When Elpidio Ubilla came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Coion fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elpidio Ubilla couldn't finish the play. Cedro Santelices sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Coion's Elpidio Ubilla slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Feliu Tartales. That made the score 1-0 after 15 minutes of play. Ubelteso Centeñes hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elpidio Ubilla in the 22nd minute of play forced WANDERERS's goalkeeper Feliu Tartales to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Feliu Tartales took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elpidio Ubilla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luke Alayz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Xavian Alari tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elpidio Ubilla in the 34thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Feliu Tartales, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Coion's Xavian Alari played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cedro Santelices in the 37th minute of play. Ioritz Bonet kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Berdoi Berda took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 44th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Xavian Alari. Coion's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Feliu Tartales took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elpidio Ubilla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Elpidio Ubilla was the one to do the kick off. Bibiano Madrazo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Feliu Tartales having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Coion's Sal Cangas got a free kick in the 56th minute. If Cedro Santelices had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Xavian Alari took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luke Alayz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Feliu Tartales stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bibiano Madrazo's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. Cedro Santelices received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Xavian Alari tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 77 played minutes Coion got a freekick which was hit by Ioritz Bonet. Cedro Santelices struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Xavian Alari didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for WANDERERS. Xavian Alari showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luke Alayz in the 87th minute of the match. A collision led to Coion getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Sal Cangas hit a great ball. 96 minutes into the game, Ioritz Bonet was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Coion's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave WANDERERS the free kick. WANDERERS's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
