Pere Hermosilla might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aurelio Cladera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pere Hermosilla ran back to his position shaking his head. Aurelio Cladera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cris Albizuri's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. After 33 played minutes Polonio got a freekick which was hit by Ordono Pamanes. Xever Artechevezuen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claris Cao having to interfere. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pere Hermosilla was the one to do the kick off. Polonio's Claris Cao played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xever Artechevezuen in the 77th minute of play. Aurelio Cladera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cris Albizuri went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. If Xever Artechevezuen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xever Artechevezuen in the 94th minute of play forced Polonio's goalkeeper Claris Cao to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Polonio players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
