The audience thought a goal was coming when Ortle Forteza got free with Xines Larabiedra in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Canitas's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gartzea Betances in the 26th minute. Canitas's Gartzea Betances was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Fagondo Lezana in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Donatello Calles charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Donatello Calles the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Canitas's Donatello Calles got a free kick in the 27th minute. If Llorian Lazaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Ortle Forteza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zambullon AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ortle Forteza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Xines Larabiedra breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fagondo Lezana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enol Tello in the 38th minute of play. A collision led to Zambullon AFC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Donatello Beteta hit a great ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Llorian Lazaro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fagondo Lezana made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Enol Tello sent off a good shot on target. Xines Larabiedra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tximitx Arruga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Xines Larabiedra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tximitx Arruga in the 65th minute of play. Tximitx Arruga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Xines Larabiedra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 70thth minute of the game Tximitx Arruga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Canitas's Xines Larabiedra was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Xines Larabiedra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tximitx Arruga, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Tximitx Arruga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 85 minutes into the match, Ortle Forteza had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Xines Larabiedra. Canitas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ortle Forteza was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0.
