Spectators: 7524 (Terracing: 5644, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Zemario Amondo started the match with the kick off. Quilo Cueli was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 4 minutes into the match. In the 5th minute, Quilo Cueli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 7 minutes into the game, Ovidio Martelo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Salamanca FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nicunihue Futbol Clú the free kick. After a rather tough play, Salamanca FC's Ovidio Martelo got a free kick in the 7th minute. 10 minutes into the match, Loi Mendiune had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Machado Bugedo. Salamanca FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Loi Mendiune was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Machado Bugedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Loi Mendiune, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Loi Mendiune in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Machado Bugedo saved Salamanca FC from getting behind. Melih Ağyar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 23rdth minute of the game Zemario Amondo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nicunihue Futbol Clú's Hermogenes Hernández was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Loi Mendiune's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Machado Bugedo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Giraldo Aleson during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Giraldo Aleson kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Hermogenes Hernández showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zemario Amondo, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Machado Bugedo came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Nicunihue Futbol Clú's Loi Mendiune. But to his dismay, Loi Mendiune quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Zemario Amondo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Salamanca FC's Zemario Amondo got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Machado Bugedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santio Palomeque, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Loi Mendiune to make the kick off. Salamanca FC's Machado Bugedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Loi Mendiune in the 53rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ovidio Martelo got free with Hermogenes Hernández in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nicunihue Futbol Clú's Hermogenes Hernández proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Nicunihue Futbol Clú from getting a goal against them. In the 60th minute of the match Edilberto Hondaro shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Machado Bugedo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Loi Mendiune had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Hermogenes Hernández made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zemario Amondo in the 64th minute of play. Ovidio Martelo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Hermogenes Hernández made a huge save. A collision led to Salamanca FC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Giraldo Aleson hit a great ball. Nicunihue Futbol Clú's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Zemario Amondo 75 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Loi Mendiune in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Machado Bugedo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Melih Ağyar in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Machado Bugedo saved Salamanca FC from getting behind. Machado Bugedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Loi Mendiune in the 87th minute of play. Melih Ağyar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Loi Mendiune sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 91 minutes into the match, Salamanca FC's goal looked a bit too open when Loi Mendiune came free, but Machado Bugedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nicunihue Futbol Clú's defense didn't have a chance, in the 93rd minute, when Ovidio Martelo scored to the left of an out of position Hermogenes Hernández, making the score, 3-3. For all the effort they put into the match, the Salamanca FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Nicunihue Futbol Clú.
