Loi Mendiune succeeded in the game's 27th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-1. Alberto Spencer charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alberto Spencer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Loi Mendiune's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 33rdth minute, Xines Larabiedra skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Loi Mendiune could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Xines Larabiedra made a huge save. After 43 played minutes Alberto Spencer rounded Canitas's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Llorian Lazaro to make the kick off. 59 minutes into the match, Nicunihue Futbol Clú's goalkeeper Hermogenes Hernández had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Enol Tello. The audience was convinced that Loi Mendiune's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Xines Larabiedra was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. Venerando Tavera's late challenge caught a Nicunihue Futbol Clú's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Xines Larabiedra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Loi Mendiune in the 73rd minute of play. Loi Mendiune fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xines Larabiedra having to interfere. Nicunihue Futbol Clú's Loi Mendiune got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 87 minutes into the match, Canitas's goal looked a bit too open when Loi Mendiune came free, but Xines Larabiedra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Xines Larabiedra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Loi Mendiune in the 95th minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Nicunihue Futbol Clú fully deserved thier win.
