Spectators: 6250 (Terracing: 4850, Seating: 1300, VIP seats: 100) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Zaquiel Heraña started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zaquiel Heraña in the 7th minute of play forced Esperanza FC's goalkeeper Tibalt Cuerva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 8 minutes, Lohitzun Cachupin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Esperanza FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lohitzun Cachupin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Iyan Guillamon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lohitzun Cachupin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Goito Areizabal having to interfere. After 12 played minutes Baygorria FC got a freekick which was hit by Cesareo Paradela. Tibalt Cuerva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zaquiel Heraña, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 15 minutes, William Montalban mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Esperanza FC and the Baygorria FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 16th minute, William Montalban hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Goito Areizabal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iyan Guillamon in the 22nd minute of play. In the 23rd match minute, Baygorria FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sanchez Basanta to maneuver through the defense. If Iyan Guillamon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Lohitzun Cachupin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Goito Areizabal having to interfere. Luis Homar's late challenge caught a Baygorria FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luis Homar helped the player get up and apologised. In the 34th minute, Luis Homar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tibalt Cuerva made an important save on a dangerous shot by Distiratsu Madinabeitia in the 48th minute.

If Lohitzun Cachupin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Iyan Guillamon came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Esperanza FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iyan Guillamon couldn't finish the play. In the 58th minute, Baygorria FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Lohitzun Cachupin fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 63 minutes into the game, Baygorria FC's Distiratsu Madinabeitia nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tibalt Cuerva made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Mambru Estebanez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Goito Areizabal having to make a save. In the 81stth minute of the game Lohitzun Cachupin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Baygorria FC's Goito Areizabal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Distiratsu Madinabeitia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Distiratsu Madinabeitia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 93 minutes into the match, Zaquiel Heraña notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Esperanza FC's Tibalt Cuerva. Tibalt Cuerva was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tibalt Cuerva came out of the goal in the 97th minute to try and stop a shot by Baygorria FC's Zaquiel Heraña. But to his dismay, Zaquiel Heraña quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Baygorria FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Esperanza FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
