Valdense FC's Antonio Jordo got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Valdense FC's Gaspar Tremiño proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Valdense FC from getting a goal against them. Lon Guisasola sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Distiratsu Madinabeitia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Baygorria FC's Zaquiel Heraña got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Goito Areizabal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonio Jordo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lon Guisasola in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Goito Areizabal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lon Guisasola sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 22nd minute, Basilio Cueli sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Baygorria FC's Goito Areizabal didn't even have to move. After 28 played minutes Valdense FC got a freekick which was hit by Tadeo Sustaeta. 32 minutes into the game, Valdense FC's Lon Guisasola nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Goito Areizabal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Goito Areizabal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonio Jordo in the 39th minute of play. Goito Areizabal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antonio Jordo in the 41st minute of the match. If Antonio Jordo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zaquiel Heraña to make the kick off. In the 54th minute Distiratsu Madinabeitia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaspar Tremiño saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Distiratsu Madinabeitia in the 57th minute of play forced Valdense FC's goalkeeper Gaspar Tremiño to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Valdense FC's Gaspar Tremiño played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zaquiel Heraña in the 58th minute of play. Gaspar Tremiño came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Baygorria FC's Zaquiel Heraña. But to his dismay, Zaquiel Heraña quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Gaspar Tremiño showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sanchez Basanta in the 66th minute of the match. When Lon Guisasola came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Valdense FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lon Guisasola couldn't finish the play. When Tadeo Sustaeta was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 71 minutes had been played. A collision led to Valdense FC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Tadeo Sustaeta hit a great ball. 78 minutes into the match, Baygorria FC's Distiratsu Madinabeitia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gaspar Tremiño narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Koldo Caldevilla fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Baygorria FC's protests and gave Koldo Caldevilla a yellow card for diving instead. The goalkeeper, Goito Areizabal, was totally fooled by Valdense FC's Basilio Cueli, who 85 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Valdense FC's goalkeeper Gaspar Tremiño, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 95 minutes into the match, Baygorria FC's goalkeeper Goito Areizabal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Antonio Jordo. 97 minutes into the match, Valdense FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zaquiel Heraña came free, but Gaspar Tremiño reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 97 minutes, Ponce Quetara mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Valdense FC and the Baygorria FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 97 played minutes Valdense FC got a freekick which was hit by Ponce Quetara.
