Spectators: 6714 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1714, VIP seats: 0) Club Nacional de Football's Amancio Deco started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute, Lohitzun Cachupin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bartolome Irigoyen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lohitzun Cachupin in the 9th minute of the match. Ximenes Solares charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ximenes Solares the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Esperanza FC booed when Club Nacional de Football was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ximenes Solares didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 12 minutes Club Nacional de Football's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luis Homar who took care of the corner kick. After having played for 15 minutes, Lohitzun Cachupin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Esperanza FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lohitzun Cachupin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kimetz Vados hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Club Nacional de Football's zone, Lohitzun Cachupin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bartolome Irigoyen came out of the goal and Lohitzun Cachupin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lohitzun Cachupin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bartolome Irigoyen having to make a save. Rutenio Calva's late challenge caught a Esperanza FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rutenio Calva helped the player get up and apologised. Bartolome Irigoyen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iyan Guillamon in the 37th minute of play. Club Nacional de Football's Bartolome Irigoyen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iyan Guillamon in the 41st minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Iyan Guillamon made a kick off. Tibalt Cuerva stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Amancio Deco's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. After 56 minutes, Mambru Estebanez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Esperanza FC and the Club Nacional de Football players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mambru Estebanez kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. When Club Nacional de Football's Amancio Deco, in the 57th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Club Nacional de Football. When Rutenio Calva came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Club Nacional de Football fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rutenio Calva couldn't finish the play. 70 minutes into the match, Club Nacional de Football's Amancio Deco sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tibalt Cuerva narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 73 minutes into the match, Club Nacional de Football's goalkeeper Bartolome Irigoyen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Iyan Guillamon. After a rather tough play, Esperanza FC's Primitivo Caraballo got a free kick in the 75th minute. Iyan Guillamon did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-2 to the left of a surprised Bartolome Irigoyen 79 minutes into the match. 85 minutes into the game, Bakar Sandines recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Bartolome Irigoyen. Bakar Sandines showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. Rutenio Calva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Tibalt Cuerva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Amancio Deco scored 1-3 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tibalt Cuerva, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
