Erasmo Hermosilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tobias Ascazua in the 9th minute of play. 12 minutes into the game, Tobias Ascazua cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Erasmo Hermosilla was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Charnela getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Txeru Carballo hit a great ball. Jesco Codony acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 25th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Desiderio Berria. 27 minutes into the match, Tobias Ascazua notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Vergarense F.C.'s Erasmo Hermosilla. Erasmo Hermosilla was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 30 minutes into the game, Donio Picado was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vergarense F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Charnela the free kick. The supporters of Charnela booed when Vergarense F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donio Picado didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Vergarense F.C.'s Abelardo Sagarteguieta got a free kick in the 32nd minute. In the 45th minute Argoitz Poso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erasmo Hermosilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abelardo Sagarteguieta stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jesco Codony showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abelardo Sagarteguieta in the 53rd minute of the match. Jesco Codony came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Vergarense F.C.'s Karlo Rubires. But to his dismay, Karlo Rubires quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Jesco Codony showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abelardo Sagarteguieta, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Karlo Rubires in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jesco Codony saved Charnela from getting behind. Karlo Rubires struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Jesco Codony didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vergarense F.C.. Jesco Codony made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abelardo Sagarteguieta in the 69th minute of play. After having played for 76 minutes, Abelardo Sagarteguieta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vergarense F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Abelardo Sagarteguieta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Feliu Lanzon kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. In the 81st minute Tobias Ascazua shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erasmo Hermosilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Karlo Rubires took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jesco Codony. Jesco Codony dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Erasmo Hermosilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Curro in the 90th minute of the match. The supporters of Charnela booed when Vergarense F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karlos Genova didn't get a good kick on the ball.
