Grecco FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Eucaliptus AFC the free kick. After 27 played minutes Grecco FC got a freekick which was hit by Quexal Moldes. Ramos Robress short, quick shot in the 30thth minute got Ekialde Sevillano to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Lamberto Creus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benito Respaldizar, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. In the 43rd minute Fernandez Farras shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ekialde Sevillano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fernandez Farras made a kick off. Benito Respaldizar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Lamberto Creus made a huge save. When Benito Respaldizar came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Grecco FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benito Respaldizar couldn't finish the play. 58 minutes in the game, Benito Respaldizar fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Lamberto Creus having to interfere. Grecco FC's Benito Respaldizar got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Ramos Robres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ekialde Sevillano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernandez Farras in the 88th minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Grecco FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Eucaliptus AFC.
