Ekialde Sevillano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Grecco FC's Ekialde Sevillano got control of the ball when Vito Mutiloa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ponciano Liendo came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Grecco FC's Pacifico Barra. But to his dismay, Pacifico Barra quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Vito Mutiloa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. A collision led to Grecco FC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Benito Respaldizar hit a great ball. After having played for 29 minutes, Benito Respaldizar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Grecco FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benito Respaldizar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Quexal Moldes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ponciano Liendo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benito Respaldizar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Grecco FC booed when FRONTERIZO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vito Mutiloa didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 47 minutes, Vito Mutiloa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FRONTERIZO FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vito Mutiloa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half Grecco FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vito Mutiloa made a kick off. If Vito Mutiloa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot by Dacio Salina from long distance, 54 minutes into the match, got Ponciano Liendo's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In a very dangerous position, a player in Grecco FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 57th minute. Penalty! 61 minutes into the game, Tristan Balado was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FRONTERIZO FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Grecco FC the free kick. After 73 played minutes Grecco FC got a freekick which was hit by Quexal Moldes. Ponciano Liendo was a little too slow when Quexal Moldes got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 79th minute. The score was now 1-3. In the 83rd minute Quexal Moldes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ponciano Liendo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ekialde Sevillano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vito Mutiloa in the 85th minute of the match. Ekialde Sevillano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vito Mutiloa's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as FRONTERIZO FC had held the ball for most of the match.
