In the 12th play minute Galindo Cotillo came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Lazaro Getino. 1-0. 16 minutes into the match, Mederos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kaiet Malo came free, but Lazaro Getino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Galindo Cotillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Lazaro Getino made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Mederos FC's zone, Kaiet Malo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lazaro Getino came out of the goal and Kaiet Malo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lazaro Getino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kaiet Malo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 23 minutes into the match, Mederos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kaiet Malo came free, but Lazaro Getino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24th match minute, Mederos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Grabiel Cerecedo to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kaiet Malo in the 27th minute of play forced Mederos FC's goalkeeper Lazaro Getino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Grabiel Cerecedo kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. When Galindo Cotillo came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Laions FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Galindo Cotillo couldn't finish the play. Through an outstanding action, after 32 minutes, Lazaro Getino successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 39 minutes into the match, Galindo Cotillo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lazaro Getino. Mederos FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Galindo Cotillo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Kaiet Malo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lazaro Getino having to interfere. In the 46th minute of the match, Kaiet Malo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Lazaro Getino saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Lazaro Getino made a fantastic save in the 48th minute, when Galindo Cotillo sent off a good shot on target. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Laions FC's Cesareo Gaiztarro got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Frichoso Suso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Galindo Cotillo in the 57th minute of play forced Mederos FC's goalkeeper Lazaro Getino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Mederos FC booed when Laions FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frichoso Suso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Galindo Cotillo in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lazaro Getino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Laions FC's Artal Echave got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mederos FC's Lazaro Getino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kaiet Malo in the 71st minute of play. In the 72nd minute Artal Echave shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lazaro Getino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lazaro Getino was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lazaro Getino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Galindo Cotillo in the 97th minute of play.
