Edorta Inestrosa started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Lazcano AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Edorta Inestrosa came free, but Perrando Antuñano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Lazcano AFC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Soter Arraya hit a great ball. Perrando Antuñano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edorta Inestrosa in the 12th minute of play. Soter Arraya kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Edorta Inestrosa struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Perrando Antuñano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guerrero FC. Tulio Galnares kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Daunte Gimenez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cordeiro Veragua, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Perrando Antuñano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edorta Inestrosa's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. In the 26th minute, Guerrero FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Xelo Rabel fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Daunte Gimenez was out of position in the 28 minute of play, and Cordeiro Veragua capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cordeiro Veragua really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Cordeiro Veragua fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daunte Gimenez having to interfere. Lazcano AFC's Itzaina Escobedo shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 37th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Daunte Gimenez but with some difficulty. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cordeiro Veragua made a kick off. In the 51st minute Cordeiro Veragua shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daunte Gimenez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edorta Inestrosa did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-2 to the left of a surprised Perrando Antuñano 58 minutes into the match. After having played for 62 minutes, Edorta Inestrosa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guerrero FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edorta Inestrosa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Anacleto Aguinaga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Saul Pantojas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Perrando Antuñano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edorta Inestrosa struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Perrando Antuñano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guerrero FC. The supporters of Guerrero FC booed when Lazcano AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chucho Ahedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Lazcano AFC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Guerrero FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Guerrero FC.
