Spectators: 6690 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1690, VIP seats: 0) Grecco's Laureano Mozo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a little luck, Grecco's Martxelin Requenes got control of the ball when Fernandez Redonet tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fernandez Redonet scored 1-0 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Martxelin Requenes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 14 played minutes Grecco got a freekick which was hit by Nazario Runs. If Laureano Mozo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Martxelin Requenes made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Fernandez Redonet sent off a good shot on target. In the 23rdth minute of the game Laureano Mozo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Melo FC's Gartzea Munarriz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Melo FC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Pellas Amenabar hit a great ball. In the 31st minute of the match Natanael Vizcarreto sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gartzea Munarriz skillfully saved the ball. Laureano Mozo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gartzea Munarriz having to interfere. Gartzea Munarriz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Laureano Mozo, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. If Fernandez Redonet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Laureano Mozo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hernandez Escalera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Gartzea Munarriz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dalmau Forcen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gartzea Munarriz having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

After a defensive mix-up in Melo FC's zone, Josias Villegas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gartzea Munarriz came out of the goal and Josias Villegas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fernandez Redonet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Melo FC's Gartzea Munarriz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laureano Mozo in the 63rd minute of play. Hernandez Escalera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Gartzea Munarriz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Laureano Mozo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Grecco's supporters rose to their feet, but Laureano Mozo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gartzea Munarriz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Bernaldo Gajardo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Martxelin Requenes was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. Grecco's Martxelin Requenes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernandez Redonet in the 80th minute of play. After 81 played minutes Grecco got a freekick which was hit by Efrain Masana. 83 minutes into the match, Grecco's goal looked a bit too open when Fernandez Redonet came free, but Martxelin Requenes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 89 minutes into the game, Grecco's Hernandez Escalera nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gartzea Munarriz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Melo FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
