Spectators: 6692 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1692, VIP seats: 0) Ekaitz Taviel started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 3 minutes into the game, Obano Jusino lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Zarbonin Ansures. With a little luck, Zapican's Zarbonin Ansures got control of the ball when Angelo Parcero tried to sneak it across the goal line. Felipillo Griego's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 9thth minute, Zarbonin Ansures skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a rather tough play, Zapican's Sanchez Doro got a free kick in the 10th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Zapican's zone, Felipillo Griego stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zarbonin Ansures came out of the goal and Felipillo Griego tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zarbonin Ansures made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Obano Jusino in the 16th minute of play. When Ekaitz Taviel came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Zapican fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ekaitz Taviel couldn't finish the play. Ekaitz Taviel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hodei Peñas having to interfere. Aritza Carredano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aritza Carredano took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hodei Peñas. Hodei Peñas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Ekaitz Taviel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 33rd match minute, Zapican was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Narciso Brito to maneuver through the defense. Felipillo Griego fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zarbonin Ansures having to interfere. Xzaver Manrique scored 2-1 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zarbonin Ansures, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Hodei Peñas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ekaitz Taviel in the 40th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Aritza Carredano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zapican's supporters rose to their feet, but Aritza Carredano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hodei Peñas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felipillo Griego got free with Zarbonin Ansures in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Obano Jusino to make the kick off. Ekaitz Taviel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zarbonin Ansures took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felipillo Griego, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Obano Jusino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Obano Jusino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 73rd minute Ekaitz Taviel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hodei Peñas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Obano Jusino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Zarbonin Ansures tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Obano Jusino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zarbonin Ansures made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipillo Griego in the 89th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Obano Jusino in the 90th minute of play forced Zapican's goalkeeper Zarbonin Ansures to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Aritza Carredano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aritza Carredano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hodei Peñas having to make a save. Zapican's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
