Seating: 1690, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Gilen Ordax made the kick off which started today's match. In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind Palmitas's goalkeeper Lope Faes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Felipo Palmero blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lope Faes having to make a save. 13 minutes into the match, Palmitas's goal looked a bit too open when Manolo Zalvide came free, but Lope Faes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 14 minutes into the match, Carqueja's Felipo Palmero sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lope Faes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Manolo Zalvide fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lope Faes having to interfere. Xzaiver Quejura made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Llorian Arrano sent off a good shot on target. Xofre Setien hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Lisandro Balmori took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 21st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Xzaiver Quejura. Carqueja's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Manolo Zalvide sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lope Faes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felipo Palmero, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. After having played for 27 minutes, Llorian Arrano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Palmitas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Llorian Arrano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Palmitas's Gilen Ordax slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Xzaiver Quejura. That made the score 1-0 after 28 minutes of play. Lope Faes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Felipo Palmero's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. If Felipo Palmero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lope Faes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Manolo Zalvide went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
Palmitas's Dino Olloqui got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Manilan Narria recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Manolo Zalvide received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Lope Faes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 61st minute, Felipo Palmero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ihintza Requena hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Manolo Zalvide could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Lope Faes made a huge save. Llorian Arrano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Xzaiver Quejura tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 75th minute, Manolo Zalvide got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Felipo Palmero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
