Spectators: 6723 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Atauri Langayo got the match started through his kick off. Atletico Melense's Felix Uquillas got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Liberto Mirafuentes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Iratze Amada was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. If Felix Uquillas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 8th minute, Jaunti Tielve had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. When Zernin Ozana fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atletico Melense's protests and gave Zernin Ozana a yellow card for diving instead. Tiadoro Valdeon, 10 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 12th minute Felix Uquillas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iratze Amada saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Liberto Mirafuentes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Iratze Amada was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. The referee ignored Migues's protests and gave Birjaio Yurrita a yellow card for diving instead. Birjaio Yurrita hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Liberto Mirafuentes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Iratze Amada tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 29 played minutes Migues got a freekick which was hit by Frederik Tanasio. After a rather tough play, Atletico Melense's Frichoso Zubiaur got a free kick in the 34th minute. Iratze Amada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Liberto Mirafuentes in the 43rd minute of the match. Migues's Iratze Amada played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Liberto Mirafuentes in the 47th minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Liberto Mirafuentes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Liberto Mirafuentes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iratze Amada having to interfere. If Liberto Mirafuentes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Migues's goalkeeper Iratze Amada, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 60 played minutes Atletico Melense got a freekick which was hit by Zernin Ozana. 71 minutes into the game, Felix Uquillas recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Iratze Amada. Felix Uquillas showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. If Felix Uquillas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Atauri Langayo hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Atletico Melense's Liberto Mirafuentes got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 81 played minutes Migues got a freekick which was hit by Berenguer Ciaran. Felix Uquillas was extremely unlucky when he, in the 87th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. A hard shot 88 in the game by Liberto Mirafuentes from a close distance when the talented Iratze Amada managed to make a qualified save. Migues's players were relieved. In the 93rd minute of the match, Felix Uquillas tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Iratze Amada saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Atletico Melense's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
