In the 6th minute, nacional fc's Enekoitz Juarbe ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Laureano Soraiz. Laureano Soraiz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. The supporters of nacional fc booed when Chamberlain was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aritza Rioja didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Froylan Cuba in the 22nd minute really tested Laureano Soraiz's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Vitor Bustelo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to nacional fc getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Enekoitz Juarbe hit a great ball. Xinaro Conchas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Laureano Soraiz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 35th minute, Eztebe Cadenas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. One of Chamberlain:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of nacional fc:s goal. After 82 played minutes nacional fc got a freekick which was hit by Marcos Regato. Eztebe Cadenas struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Yaniusky Velarde didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chamberlain. Laureano Soraiz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vitor Bustelo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 93 played minutes Chamberlain got a freekick which was hit by Nataniel Ermua. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The nacional fc fans cheered their team off the field, for while Chamberlain had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
